Fort Macleod Curling Club to celebrate 125th anniversary

The Fort Macleod Curling Club will be celebrating its 125th anniversary from October 27-28th. The organization will be hosting a huge event coming up to observe the historic milestone. BCN’s Micah Quinn has the details.

There is a long list of items on the agenda for the Fort Macleod Curling Club’s 125th anniversary event. Staff with the organization said there will be an amazing opportunity through the online auction for participants to test their skills against some of the best curlers from across Canada.

The club has a long and storied history in Fort Macleod dating back to 1898.

The proceeds from the historic event will go towards supporting the Chinook Regional Hospital’s neonatal unit.
