First phase of construction of Crowsnest Trail Pathway completed

The first phase of the Crowsnest Trail Pathway construction is now complete. The work, which runs from 4 Avenue South down Mayor Magrath Drive South, then along the south side of the Crowsnest Trail, and into the W.T. Hill Business Park area, began last summer and concluded this week.
Robert Kovacs, Senior Project Administrator with the City of Lethbridge, explains how much the total investment for the project is.
The City says, along its length, the pathway will also include various protective measures such as steel guardrail, concrete barriers, protective fencing, delineators and buffer spaces to protect pathway users from traffic on the adjacent roadways.
