Councillor Rob Miyashiro seeking Alberta NDP nomination for Lethbridge-East

A two-term Lethbridge city councillor is jumping into provincial politics. Rob Miyashiro announced he is seeking the Alberta NDP’s nomination for Lethbridge-East and competition for the UCP’s Nathan Neudorf. Miyashiro has been the executive director of the Lethbridge Senior Citizens Organization since 2013.

Miyashiro says it was clear to him that Rachel Notley has the best vision and the best approach to governing. 

Although a provincial election hasn’t been called in Alberta, it’s expected to be held between March 1st and May 31st, 2023. Miyashrio adds, he decided to announce his candidacy to give him time to meet with the community and hear people’s concerns.
