With China retaliating against Canada’s tariff on Chinese made vehicles with a tariff of their own on Canadian canola that will severely impact our agriculture industry. Alberta’s Minister of Agriculture and Irrigation, RJ Sigurdson, says the majority of our canola exports go to China so this would really hurt our producers. Sigurdson also expresses his concern with BCN’s Hal Roberts over potential Chinese tariffs on Canadian canola.
