Police searching for machete-branded suspect in alleged chase

The Lethbridge Police Service are asking the public for help in identifying suspects in a possible machete attack last month on Lethbridge’s west side.

Police say on August 24^th at around 11 p.m., LPS responded to a call about a group of men chasing people with a machete in the area of West Village Mall located at 100 Columbia Blvd West.

Police currently do not have a description of the people involved, but they are asking if anyone has information that could assist in the investigation, please call the non-emergency number at 403-328-4444.

Anonymous online tips can also be sent to Crime Stoppers, and they’ll pay $2,000 for information leading to an arrest.
