Interest for commercial development around Highway 23 & 519 intersection

The Town of Nobleford and Lethbridge County have been granted provincial funding to begin land assessments for commercial development around a key rural intersection.

The roundabout at Highways 519 and 23,  serves as a major route for commuters and commerce as a shortcut to Highway 2 compared to passing Through Fort McLeod. Over 9,200 vehicles pass by daily, which the county says warrants a look into bringing commercial and industrial services to the surrounding area. A Joint Development Feasibility Study will explore what development and growth opportunities could be considered, to meet growing demand.

The Study is funded by a $100,000 grant and is expected to begin in June.
