Lethbridge Polytechnic & Virtualware sign development agreement

Lethbridge Polytechnic’s Spatial Technologies Applied Research and Training Centre (START) has signed a development agreement with VR company Virtualware.

The agreement brings in virtual and extended reality immersive demonstrations for industries and sectors that the Polytechnic teaches. Virtualware will use a proprietary platform called VIROO located at the START Centre and will be the first room of its kind in Western Canada.

Virtualware and the Polytechnic expect to begin projects in a few weeks time.
