Alberta reveals funding for Drought & Flood protections

The UCP government has announced some targeted funding for drought and flood protections throughout the province. $25 million from its Drought and Flood Protection program will go to 12 separate projects, while $3.5 million will go to projects through the Watershed Resiliency and Restoration Program. This is a continuation of the five-year, $125 million drought and flood program that began back in 2024.
