Coaldale launches affordable ride pass pilot program

A new affordable ride pass program has been implemented for Coaldale residents. The initiative is being led by Coaldale & District Handi-Ride Association. The ride pass includes five round trips for just $25. Clayton Varjassy, Community Experience Manager with the Town of Coaldale, says the pass will be valid for six months from the date of issue and can be used within the Town of Coaldale or for medical appointments in Lethbridge.

He says the pilot program started on Monday and will continue until the end of the year. People who would like to purchase a pass can visit the Coaldale Food Bank or Coaldale Pharmasave.
