Brooks RCMP investigating hate-motivated graffiti
Brooks RCMP are investigating multiple occurrences of graffiti sprayed across the city showing white supremacist and anti-immigrant messaging.
RCMP say between October 1st and November 26th they have responded to nine separate incidents of hate-motivated graffiti sprayed on various City of Brooks owned infrastructure.
RCMP say the Suspect(s) are spray painting various comments, including hateful terms and messages, around the city. As well, the City of Brooks has reported that stickers/decals promoting the White Lives Matter movement are being placed all over the city, usually on traffic signs.



Police say acts like these have no place in the city, and they are seeking public assistance in identifying the suspect or suspects involved and reporting any hate motivated crimes they may have witnessed. The public can call Brooks RCMP at 403-794-4400 or contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
