Lethbridge dog behaviorist competing to train with Cesar Millan
A local dog behaviorist is on a mission to take his talents to new heights in an ongoing competition to train with notable “Dog Whisperer” Cesar Millan.
Teymur Gafarov is a volunteer at the Lethbridge and District Humane Society and trains with Millie; a three-year-old mixed Australian-Shepard and Beagle. After tragically losing his dog Lucy in 2025, he dedicated his life to training and rehabilitating dogs at the Humane Society, which is where he adopted his Millie.
He is using his story to try to win a grand prize of $25,000 dollars and a training session with Cesar Millan, where votes from the public could help him advance to the next round.
Currently, Teymur is the quarterfinal stage where he’ll need enough votes to pass through two more rounds to become one of the main winners. Votes in the form of donations towards the Cesar Millan Foundation will also help Teymur towards his goal.
You can support him in the ‘My Dog, My Inspiration’ contest on Orbiiit. Voting ends on November 6th.
