Lethbridge is vying for 100,000 dollars and the title of Canada’s Most Active Community. To be part of this ParticipACTION Community Challenge, today Lethbridge Family Services held an Interpretive Nature Hike in Pincher Creek with staff and newcomers. Najib Mangal, Manager, Community Connections, LFS says the experience is designed to help newcomers to Canada not only explore the outdoors but feel a true sense of connection to their new home.
Throughout the month of June, communities across Canada including Lethbridge, are competing in the Community Challenge — a national initiative encouraging Canadians to make room to move get active in the race to be named Canada’s Most Active Community.
