Vladimir Putin health rumours swirling
It’s been close to three months since Russia invaded Ukraine. The United Nations says over 3,000 civilians have been killed since the war began. Close to 4,000 have been injured as well. There has been a rumour swirling around that Russian President Vladimir Putin is seriously ill. Dr. Chris Burton, an Associate Professor of History at the University of Lethbridge addressed that rumour during a presentation at SACPA on Thursday.
“Members of the American Congress have said that there’s something going on there medically with Putin, but they won’t tell us what it is. It’s highly confidential. People have looked at Putin and they’ve noticed his puffy face. They believe he may be on steroids, which is alarming in itself. Members of the American Congress have intelligence on this, which they’re not sharing with us. Yes, there is something to it.”
The Kremlin has denied that Russian President Putin is in poor health.
