United Way Reopening Stream of Funding for charity organizations
With Stage 3 of Alberta’s Open for Summer Plan around the corner, the need for support for charity organizations hasn’t gone away. That’s why the United Way of Lethbridge and Southwestern Alberta has reopened a stream of funding for these organizations.
Roughly $80,000 is available to organizations in the region to support clients in things like meeting basic needs, accessing mental health support and more. Janelle Marietta, Executive Director of United Way Lethbridge, says charities have been struggling throughout the pandemic to bring in donations and funding.
