Co-op’s ‘Fuel Good Day” to support LSCO’s Meals on Wheels

South Country Co-op locations are hosting their annual ‘Fuel Good Day’ fundraiser on Tuesday, September 15th that’s geared to support local charities and nonprofits through everyday Co-op purchases.

Customers visiting the West and Southside Co-op gas bars can give towards the initiative through their purchases in fuel, propane, coffee and beverages and Extreme car washes. Proceeds will go towards this year’s recipient, the Lethbridge Senior Citizen’s Meals on Wheel’s program, designed to provide meals and social interactions to home-bound seniors across the Lethbridge area.

South Country Co-op will donate:

-5¢/litre of fuel (all grades of gasoline and diesel)
-5¢/pound of propane
-$1 from every coffee, iced coffee, or Big Cool Slush
-$2 from every Extreme Car Wash (September 9–15) — customers also save $2 on these washes

LSCO staff will be onsite at both Lethbridge Co-op bar locations from 12-6pm serving customers and handing out prizes.

Nearly a hundred people in Lethbridge are served daily from the Meals on Wheels program.
