Ukrainian immigrant experience on display at Galt Museum

A new temporary exhibition at the Galt Museum has been inspired by the continued war that the Ukrainian people have been forced to endure since the Russian invasion of their country began in February of 2022. It also showcases the Ukrainian immigrant experience in southern Alberta from the mid-20th century to the early 21st century. BCN’s Micah Quinn spoke with staff from the Galt Museum who have the details.

Transplanted Sunflowers: The Ukrainian Immigrant Experience in Southern Alberta, 1940s to Present will be on display at the Galt Museum until April 7th of 2024.
