UCP not happy with Liberals’ emissions cap

As you have heard on Bridge City News the Trudeau government wants to put an emissions cap on our oil and gas sector which would be 35 per cent less than 2019 levels. Premier Danielle Smith has blasted Environment Minister Steven Guilbeault on the idea calling him deranged and says the cap would kill thousands of jobs in our energy sector. Our legislative reporter, Tyler Dawson, discusses steps the province could take in once again fighting back against Ottawa. He shares details with BCN’s Hal Roberts.

Hal is a veteran journalist with 30 years in the industry. He worked as a parliamentary reporter on the Hill interviewing federal leaders and cabinet ministers. Hal was blessed to win a few awards in his career including one as senior producer for a TV show on human trafficking which aired on CTS.
