UCP Leader candidate Rebecca Schulz wants to unite conservative party if elected

Following the UCP leaders debate Wednesday in Medicine Hat, Rebecca Schulz says the best thing for people to focus on when choosing the next leader of the UCP is who can lead the party effectively and win the election over Rachel Notley next year. Schulz says it’s all about unity.

“Unity of our party members, our grassroots party members but also our team. I really felt like I was the only candidate on that stage tonight who talked about how we can build that unity, how we can get that done and what that will take to move forward into 2023,” said Rebecca Schulz, UCP Leader candidate.

All seven candidates will be back on August 30 for their second debate in Edmonton.
