Tri-Community Childcare Society named finalist for grant

Good news for Southern Alberta! A local group called the Tri-Community Childcare Society, has been named one of four finalists across Canada, for the Raise the Barn Winfield Grant. The award, sponsored by agriculture company Winfield United, would be a major funding boost to expand childcare in the region. Christine Doenz, Vice-President of Tri-Community Childcare, says to win the grant – they need your vote.
The Society is hosting its first annual “Bids & Beef” Fundraising Gala on Saturday, November 15th, at the Elks Hall in Warner. Proceeds from the event will go toward the daycare.
