Toronto by-election result bad news for Trudeau
There was a huge win for the federal Conservatives in the Toronto-St. Paul’s by-election on Monday night. The riding which has been a Liberal stronghold for over 30 years was won by the Tory candidate Don Stewart. He beat out the Liberal candidate Leslie Church. The seat became available after Liberal MP Carolyn Bennett stepped down to become the ambassador to Denmark. Political reporter Brian Lilley tells BCN’s Hal Roberts that the win by the Poilievre Conservatives is a victory of epic proportions.
