Taber Safe Haven sells out Valentine’s Fundraiser

Safe Haven Women’s Shelter in Taber, Alberta says that pandemic stress, job loss, and isolation have become the ‘perfect storm’ for increased calls of extreme domestic violence. The shelter has been able to house women at just half its capacity because of health restrictions. There is a way you can help. The Sill and Soil in Taber hosts the Little Box of Hope for donations. The nonprofit has sold out of its Valentines fundraiser, which will see hundreds of roses given out locally.
