Taber Corn Fest set to go ahead Aug. 26th-28th
Mark your calendars – a southern Alberta staple is once again coming back this year. Taber Corn Fest will be going ahead starting August 26 through 28. There will be a church service on the 29th. Corn Fest has been running for 36 years and is the largest Western Canada Free Family festival.
Organizers say it was important to bring back the festivities to the community after 16 months dealing with the pandemic. Taber Corn Fest Co-chair, Rick Popadynetz says almost all of the activities are being planned for this year.
Also on the list of activities will be multiple concerts and bands, a BMX biking show, and Pure Power Wrestling.
