Taber Community Centre secures new naming rights deal

Taber’s Community Centre, which is home to its recently re-opened arena, has secured a new naming rights deal in partnership with the town and Inter Pipeline.

Now known as the Inter Pipeline Community Centre, the new ten-year naming rights deal will encompass the large ice arena and Aquafun Centre, and allow a new revenue stream towards the Community Centre for its operations. The town says this will help relieve tax-related costs including maintenance and recent repair costs.

The town has not disclosed revenue details behind the agreement but is open to introducing sponsors towards other assets in the community centre, such as its dressing rooms and curling rink, which is slated to open sometime this year.

The Community Centre was rocked by an explosion in December 2025, which shut down much of the facility’s operations for months.
