Spring donation slowdown impacts Lethbridge Soup Kitchen

The Lethbridge Soup Kitchen is urging the community to donate after a donation it was expecting didn’t come in on time. There is always a fall in donations in the spring and summer months. Since the Soup Kitchen chooses to not receive government funding, any pauses in donations can add up quickly. Bill Ginther, Executive Director with Lethbridge Soup Kitchen says while they have enough volunteers; they need funds. And the director understands that’s hard when everyone is feeling the financial pinch.
