Special screening of Ghostbusters: Afterlife set for Nov. 13 in Fort Macleod

There is some exciting news for movie-goers in southern Alberta. Sony Canada has confirmed the Town of Fort Macleod will receive a special screening of Ghostbusters: Afterlife on Nov. 13. The movie was filmed in Fort Macleod and other areas of southern Alberta last year. The screening will take place at the Empress Theatre. 

The Town’s interim CAO, Liisa Gillingham, says people are thrilled to see the town featured in the movie.

Tickets will go on sale on Oct. 4 and are $100, they can be purchased online at MacleodEmpress.com. Proceeds from ticket sales will go towards new seats and flooring for the Theatre. Ghostbusters: Afterlife hits theatres on Nov. 19.
