Show & Shine revving up for Father’s Day

Car lovers in Lethbridge are set to enjoy a fun-filled day full of classic vehicles.

The Nord-Bridge Seniors Centre is hosting their first ever Show & Shine BBQ on Father’s Day.

Ashley Kern, the program coordinator for the centre says there is a special theme to this year’s event.

“So it’s kind of unique in the fact that everyone that’s entered their vehicles into the car show are all seniors 55 and older, which is kind of one of its first of its kind in Lethbridge. Usually it’s for, of course, everyone to enter their vehicles. So we kind of, being a senior centre, wanted to offer first dibs to all of our seniors in the community or from Nord-Bridge in this car show. We actually are so full now that we have people on the waitlist and there’s more people that want to join.

The free event will run from 11am-3pm on June 18th at the Nord-Bridge Seniors Centre.
