Refundable Bottle Program nets big money for Lethbridge food banks

The Interfaith Food Bank and Lethbridge Food Bank have received a generous amount of cash thanks to the Refundable Bottle Program from Greens Pop Shop and GPS Container Depot. The $32,380.12 will be split in half for the two food banks. The Executive Director for the Interfaith Food Bank, Danielle McIntyre, says that this money goes a long way with helping out the less fortunate in our city.

McIntyre says that the bottle drive will continue to run, and residents can donate at all GPS Container Depot locations, or either food bank.
