Lethbridge Hurricanes looking forward to Easter BYE
The Lethbridge Hurricanes have lost 5 straight games. Sunday’s 5-4 OT loss to the Medicine Hat Tigers marks the clubs 7th straight loss to Medicine Hat, dating back to September of 2019.
After completing 3 consecutive games, coaches and players shared the challenges of back to back games, and that they are looking forward to the BYE ahead of the Easter long weekend.
“Three-and-threes are pretty tough, and to do three weeks in a row…your body gets pretty sore, and so I think this off week is pretty well deserved, and I think we’re going to (make) the most of it,” says Hurricanes Centre, Chase Wheatcroft
“We worked really hard on Saturday and Sunday, didn’t love the results, but we’ve got a chance to put our noses down and work for a couple weeks,” adds assistant coach, Jeff Hansen.
The Hurricanes will play the Medicine Hat Tigers once again, on April 9.
