Public safety or cost savings? Debate over Lethbridge-Fire/EMS system at SACPA

A growing debate over the future of Lethbridge’s integrated Fire/EMS system took centre stage at today’s Southern Alberta Council on Public Affairs discussion or SACPA, as firefighters warned provincial EMS changes could prioritize cost savings over public safety.

The integrated Fire/EMS model has been serving Lethbridge for 114 years.
