PBO confirms that rebate cheques are not enough

The Parliamentary Budget Officer says his updated report on the federal carbon tax is consistent with his earlier findings. Yves Giroux says once broader economic effects are factored in, the gains from the rebate cheques are wiped out for most except for some lower-income earners. Franco Terrazzano is the federal director of the Canadian Taxpayers Federation. He says the carbon tax continues to hurt so many Canadians.
