Nathan Neudorf Recall Petition signature period closes

A recall petition for Lethbridge-East MLA Nathan Neudorf reached its deadline on Monday for gathering signatures. However, efforts for citizens to put their names down have been met with complete silence.

Neudorf is one of 26 MLA’s who have faced recall petitions. The organizer for Neudorf’s recall is Ryan Tanner, who claimed that Nathan represents a disconnect and an inability to meet the needs, desires and expectations of those he represents.

However, those who attempted to sign the petition and reach out to Tanner have failed to hear back. Nathan Neudorf has repeatedly denied any personal connections to the petition, after claims arose behind the intent of the petition or Ryan Tanner.

Fourteen petitions have passed or are hitting their deadlines as of Monday, February 23, with two confirmed by Elections Alberta as failed, which includes Demitrios Nicolaides and Angela Pitt.
