Municipal leaders gather for regional infrastructure summit

A collaboration between southern Alberta municipalities was recently held during a one-day regional forum at the Lethbridge Trade and Convention Centre. The Infrastructure Services Regional Summit was aimed at sharing practical insights to support municipalities, focusing on water, wastewater, fleet services, procurement, waste and environmental issues. The Director of Infrastructure Services, Joel Sanchez says the process began last year through engagement with regional partners and site visits to municipalities in the area. They say the goal is to work together, improve services and create greater benefits for communities.
