Alberta Minister Schow: Federal government “taking Alberta’s lead” in job creation

On Wednesday, Joseph Schow, the Alberta Minister for Jobs, Economy, Trade and Immigration, met in Lethbridge with the local Chamber of Commerce and other community leaders.

Attendees shared their thoughts on the current state of local business and trade, with Schow stressing the importance of job creation. He also gave his thoughts on the federal government’s spring economic update on Tuesday, which aims to recruit 80,000 to 100,000 skilled trade workers by 2031.
