LPS investigating sudden death outside McDonald’s

Lethbridge Police continue their investigation into a sudden death that took place Friday. Officials say a man’s body was found inside a storage shed early in the day on July 14th at the McDonalds located on University Drive. Police say workers from a restoration company found the man inside the shed. The shed had been previously damaged in a fire in early July and the workers had gone to the storage area to provide remediation services. The man’s body was taken to the Medical Examiner’s Office in Calgary where a full autopsy will be done to determine the cause of death. The circumstances surrounding the death remain under investigation and no further information will be released until the autopsy is done.
