Lethbridge Police warning public of suspicious man

Lethbridge Police have issued a warning about a suspicious man who has been reportedly taking pictures of children.

Police say the male in his twenties with dark skinned, possibly East Asian descent was seen taking pics of kids at a playground last Sunday along Lakemount Boulevard South.

Then on Wednesday, the same male was seen shooting pictures of kids at a school playground along Mildred Dobbs Boulevard North.

Police say while it is not a criminal offence to take photos in a public place, the man’s conduct in both instances is deemed suspicious and his intentions are unknown.

LPS told us if you view any suspicious activity to call them right away at 403-328-4444.

UPDATE: In a release LPS says the previously reported suspicious activity was determined to be unfounded
