Kenney wants flexibility from Ottawa for child care deal

The Alberta government has put in $45-million to help families in our province that are earning up to $90,000 to assist with child care costs. $10-a-day child care negotiations, however, are still ongoing between the UCP and Ottawa.

Four other regions have since signed agreements with the federal government for the $10-a-day child care program. They include British Columbia, Nova Scotia, PEI and the Yukon.
