Jamie Ellacott still looking for lawyer

A former coach with the Lethbridge Gymnastics Academy was back in court on Monday.
Jamie Ellacott was previously charged with the sexual assault of several young girls last year.
Ellacott recently fired his lawyer and is still searching for a new one to represent him.
He was expected to hire Calgary lawyer Tonii Roulston but said he’s been unable to come up with the retainer.
He has since been approved for Legal Aid and is expected to have a lawyer assigned to him by the end of the week.
Ellacott faces five counts each of sexual interference and sexual assault of a person under the age of 16.
He will be back in court on July 24 to confirm he has hired a new lawyer.
