Invasive species costing Alberta economy over $2-billion

Alberta is often referred to as being rat-free, but most people don‘t see the invasive species hidden in plain sight. More than 100 invasive plants are calling Alberta home, along with additional fish and animals. Megan Evans, with the Alberta Invasive Species Council, says the concern is not only on the environment, but also the financial impact.
