Indigenous Recovery Coaching bundle care packages for city’s most vulnerable

The Indigenous Recovery Coaching Program have been putting together Christmas holiday care packages for some of the most vulnerable in our city. They  include some treats, socks, hand warmers, and naloxone kits. An official for the initiative says elementary school kids have been getting involved with bundling of packages and explains the importance behind it.

“Wanted to include the school students just as their next generation coming up. And to me, it’s very important that the next generation has kindness and compassion towards those who are struggling in our communities and just continue to give a lending hand to those,” said Cherie Shot Both Sides, Indigenous Recovery Coach, Indigenous Recovery Coaching Program.

Shot Both Sides says this is the second year they have been putting together care packages.
