Fort Macleod’s diversity and inclusion billboard garnering attention

A new billboard has been erected in the Town of Fort Macleod reminding people passing through to love your neighbour and each other, without any exceptions. The billboard was created by the Fort Macleod and District Family & Community Support Services (FCSS). They say it is a way to bring the community together despite people’s differences.

Coordinator with the FCSS, Angie O’Connor, says the goal of the project is to raise awareness about diversity and inclusion.

The Town received a grant through the Human Rights Commission to help fund the new billboard. It’s expected to be set up in town for as long as possible.
