As you have heard on Bridge City News, the UCP now has three nominees vying to become the sole candidate for the Lethbridge West riding. The three are city councilor John Middleton Hope, realtor Shauna Gruninger and Erin Leclerc. Leclerc is the former constituency office manager for both MLA Nathan Neudorf and MP Rachel Thomas. We asked Leclerc, a married mother of four, why she decided to throw her hat in the ring and why she feels she is the best candidate. Officials say a forum has been arranged by the local candidate nominating committee. It will be held in the Theatre Gallery of the Lethbridge Public Library on Thursday September 12th from 7-9pm.
