Devon Hargreaves announces he is running as Lethbridge Liberal candidate

Canadians are anxious to hear if a federal election will be called for the fall. A familiar Lethbridge name is being dropped in the hat to run against Conservative MP Rachael Harder. Devon Hargreaves, who formerly ran for a seat in the Alberta legislature is now running as the federal Liberal candidate for our city. Hargreaves says the performance of Jason Kenney’s government shows why Alberta and Canada cannot afford a Conservative government.
A fall federal election has yet to be announced. According to a new poll from Mainstream Research, 55 percent of Liberal-intentioned voters say the 43rd Parliament should continue. Conservatives were the most keen on an election with 64 percent, NDP voters split 34 percent for and 45 percent against.
