CTF says Albertans need a tax break in 2025

The Canadian Taxpayers Federation is holding Alberta government  officials feet to the fire since the province promised to reduce the income tax bracket from 10 to eight per cent in the new year. The UCP said this provincial income tax cut would save families around 15-hundred dollars each. Kris Sims, the Alberta director of the CTF, and she says families need that kind of relief right now.

Hal Roberts

Hal is a veteran journalist with 30 years in the industry. He worked as a parliamentary reporter on the Hill interviewing federal leaders and cabinet ministers. Hal also covered the Ottawa terrorist attack in 2014, and has worked as an anchor/reporter in Toronto, Peterborough and Calgary. Hal was blessed to win a few awards in his career including one as senior producer for a TV show on human trafficking which aired on CTS.
