Controversy surrounding Maui wildfires
Around 850 people are believed to be missing following the devastating wildfires in Maui. At least 114 people have died so far in the western Maui wildfires and close to 3,000 homes and businesses have been destroyed or damaged. State officials say losses are estimated at around six-billion dollars. U.S. correspondent Lisa Daftari says it is somewhat suspicious, however, that certain homes were untouched while others right beside them burned completely to the ground. She shares the details with BCN’s Hal Roberts.
