Axes fly in second annual Burn Battle fundraiser

Axe throwing has continued to gain significant traction in the sports world. A total of 44 people made their way to Lethbridge on Sunday to participate in the 2022 Burn Battle fundraiser, which was an increase of eight compared to last year. As BCN’s Micah Quinn reports, throwers put on a clinic hoping to hit their target of raising funds for the Jack Ady Cancer Centre, which will go toward purchasing life-saving equipment and educating staff to give them the tools they need to help fight cancer.
