Annual Christmas Turkey Dinner at the LSCO

Each year, volunteers and staff at the Lethbridge Senior Citizens Organization serve a free Christmas meal to anyone who is in need of a friendly face and a full belly. Last year they delivered over a thousand meals across Lethbridge including to on-duty first responders and the Lethbridge Soup Kitchen. The tradition continues this year as the 39th annual Christmas Turkey Dinner takes place at the LSCO on Christmas Day from 11am til 1:00 pm. Hannah Dupuis with the LSCO says this year will be special because it’s the first year the event will be held in-person since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The LSCO is looking to raise half of the 12-thousand dollars it will cost to host this event. To volunteer, donate or RSVP call the LSCO at 403-320-2222.
