Lethbridge Police Service offering tips

Many feel as though police officers don’t want you to know your rights so that they can potentially abuse the force that is used against you.  But much to the surprise of many, Lethbridge Police Service made a series of posts on social media of some of the rights you have while interacting with police. Inspector Jason Walper with LPS explains why they created those insightful posts. 

Walper adds that the hope behind the campaign is to reduce the stress and anxiety people often experience when being stopped by police.
