Three cancer survivors head to France for Dragon Boat Festival

Three brave local women, breast cancer survivors, are preparing to represent Canada on the international stage. Denise Wall, Pat Hodd and Susan Beers will travel to France later this month to compete in the International Breast Cancer Paddlers’ Commission Dragon Boat Festival, joining thousands of paddlers from around the world in a celebration of strength, resilience and hope. They belong to Dragonboat Association of Southern Alberta (DASA).

The festival will be held in Lac du Bourget, France from August 24-30.
