With the official list of Lethbridge candidates running in this fall’s civic elections now finalized, BCN will continue to provide our conversations and interviews with the many candidates running for mayor, councilor or school trustee.
BCN caught up with Tricia Doherty, currently Trustee for the board at the Holy Spirit Catholic School Division who is running for reelection. She emphasizes that school boards need strong voices to ensure education in our province remains a top priority.
Tricia is also an advocate for fine arts education on top of the traditional curriculum so students would be able to “find their places of belonging.”
