Lethbridge hosting memorial vigil honouring Charlie Kirk’s Legacy

Last week, the public assassination of Charlie Kirk, the Christian and conservative commentator, shook North America and continues to reverberate around the world.

Since then, numerous actions have been held to show support to Kirk’s family as well as to honor his legacy. Vigils featuring prayers, speeches, songs and messages have become a significant part of the memorial efforts.

Here in Lethbridge, the community will gather for the Charlie Kirk – Lethbridge Memorial Vigil, tomorrow at Galt Gardens Park in his memory. Andrea Lauder, organizer of the Charlie Kirk – Lethbridge Memorial shares what he meant to many.

The Charlie Kirk – Lethbridge Memorial will start at 7:00 p.m. in Galt Gardens Park, and his funeral will take place on Sunday, Sep 21 at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona
